Overview
The Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 are new powers that have come into force. They allow the police, local councils, social landlords and other agencies to better tackle anti-social behaviour. These will enable victims and communities to feel safer in their own homes and areas where they live.
These powers are more flexible, quicker to obtain and less bureaucratic. This will make it easier for all agencies to deal with anti-social behaviour and put victims at the heart of the process.
Module1. Criminal behaviour orders
Module 2. Other partner powers
This ASB – Police partner powers:
- A detailed examination of the range of community safety tools now available to the partnership
- The scope and limitations of those tools
- The key elements of an engagement strategy with the police and local authority
- How to encourage the appropriate sharing of information
- Knowing how to use the right tools at the right time to achieve results.

How it works
The key topics for this course have been broken down into lessons, each lesson dealing with a specific area of the overall subject. Each one has clearly set learning outcomes and assessment criteria.
You can progress through the course at your own pace. If you need to leave the course, it will remember where you left off, so when you return there is no need to repeat steps. We often include external links, videos, webpages, downloads, which provide excellent resource files.
At the end of each lesson is a knowledge checkpoint, you will need to achieve more than 75% to pass the lesson, which then unlocks the following lesson. Upon completion of the final lesson your certificate will be unlocked. You can save this as a PDF to your computer or simply print it off.
When

Questions and answers
Is the material and learning discussed applicable to policing in Scotland?
Answer:Hi Clare The Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 is an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom not England that consolidated and expanded law enforcement powers in addressing anti-social behaviour. I have some great links that could help, if you would like them let me know. I also have an expert on this subject but is on leave until the 6th January but I am happy to get some expert clarification for you after that date should you require it? Warm Regards Sarah
